Baked Boursin Salmon

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 portions Salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each (skin on recommended)
  • 4-6 ounces Boursin cheese (plain or garlic and herb)
  • to taste Olive oil, for drizzling
  • to taste Salt Boursin is already seasoned, so use lightly
  • to taste Freshly ground black pepper
Optional Sides
  • Asparagus Roasted or steamed
  • Broccoli Steamed or roasted
  • Cooked rice Herbed couscous is also a good option

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat each salmon fillet dry with paper towels and arrange them skin-side down on the lined sheet.
  3. Let the fillets sit at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes if time allows.
  4. Drizzle each fillet generously with olive oil.
  5. Season lightly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  6. Spoon or spread a generous layer of Boursin over the top of each fillet, covering the surface evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is opaque through the center.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately with your chosen side.

Notes

Cool leftovers to room temperature within two hours, then refrigerate in an airtight container for up to three days. To reheat, cover loosely with foil and warm in the oven at 275°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
