- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium high heat until it shimmers.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
- Add the thinly sliced beef in a single layer. Let it sear undisturbed for 1 minute to develop color.
- Stir and continue to cook the beef until browned, about 2 to 3 more minutes depending on thickness.
- Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir to combine. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until vegetables are tender crisp.
- Pour the soy sauce and oyster sauce over the beef and veggies. Stir quickly to coat and warm the sauce, about 30 seconds.
- Taste and adjust with salt and pepper if needed. Serve immediately over hot rice or mixed with noodles.
