Preparation
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, and chili flakes. Stir until the cornstarch dissolves, then set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about a minute until fragrant.
Cooking
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Cook while breaking it into smaller pieces until it’s browned and no longer pink.
- Pour in the prepared soy sauce mixture and cook on high heat for about two minutes. If too thick, add a tablespoon of water to adjust consistency.
- Toss in chopped chives, reserving some for garnish, and remove from heat.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and remaining chives. Serve hot, preferably with rice and vegetables.
