Preparation
- Start by prepping the minced garlic and any optional veggies you want to add.
- Pat the chicken dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter until it foams.
- Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and allow it to sear without moving for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Move the chicken to one side, adding the minced garlic to the empty space in the skillet. Sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth, scraping any flavorful browned bits from the pan. Bring it to a boil.
- Stir in the egg noodles, ensuring they're nestled in the broth. Lower the heat to a gentle simmer, cover the pan, and cook for 8–10 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove the pan from heat and stir in the remaining butter until melted and glossy.
- Allow it to rest for 2 minutes, then sprinkle with chopped parsley and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.

Notes
For perfectly seared chicken, don’t crowd the pan. Consider adding a splash of cream for extra richness. Always check the internal temperature of the chicken to ensure it’s safe to eat.
