- Spread 1 tablespoon of pesto on the inner surface of each slice of bread until both sides are coated.
- Place the two slices of cheese between the non-pesto sides, ensuring the pesto faces the cheese, then gently press the sandwich together.
Cooking
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Let it melt until it starts to foam.
- Carefully lay the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the first side is golden brown.
- Flip the sandwich and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, pressing lightly with a spatula if needed, until the cheese is fully melted and both sides have that perfect golden color.
- Once done, transfer the sandwich to a cutting board, slice it in half, and enjoy immediately.
