  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece ginger, grated
  • 2 cups bok choy or spinach, chopped Spinach can be used as a substitute for bok choy.
  • 2 each green onions, sliced
  • to taste soy sauce
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • to taste sesame oil For sautéing and finishing.
  • 1 package store-bought dumplings (potstickers), fresh or frozen

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large pot, heat a drizzle of sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, allowing it to come to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add the dumplings, cooking according to package instructions.
  5. Once the dumplings are cooked, stir in the chopped bok choy or spinach and sliced green onions.
  6. Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Finish with a few drops of sesame oil and serve hot.
