- Brown the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- Transfer the cooked beef mixture into your slow cooker.
- Add the drained corn, rinsed black beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, spreading it evenly.
- Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the cheese.
Cooking
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for about 3 to 4 hours.
- Once cooked, serve warm and enjoy!
